Hello there! Welcome to my personal blog. I am a stay-at-home mom to a 3 year old daughter and a wife to a hardworking husband. I am running a cross-cultural home, cooking international recipes, playing with my daughter, making dresses for her and me, shopping and attending blog events in between.
Why did I name my blog utot mo pink? What does it mean? Literally, it means your fart is pink. I believe that there is nothing wrong with the word fart? It's a natural thing, so I don't think it sounds nasty or rude. Back in college, a friend of mine would use that expression when joking about something. For me, the translation is like.. life is better in pink. Pink is a happy feminine color and I like it. So there!In 2008, when hubby asked me to think of a unique blog name, I immediately thought about the expression utot mo pink. He registered the name, then the rest is history. Actually, the main reason that I created this blog is for it to serve as my online journal, then later to document my journey as a wife and a mommy. But since it's a personal blog, it also contains notes about health, food, fashion, entertainment and the like.
I am a person who loves writing. I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night just to write. My family couldn't afford to send me to a better school that's why I only graduated college with a degree similar to Journalism. My grammar and writing skill still sucks, I know. Honestly, I need to study and learn more. Who knows? I might get back to schooling one day. Hubby always pushes me to. For the meantime, let me enjoy writing through the world wide web. Cheers!
