This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.
When my daughter was still a baby, we used to frequently visit a pediatrician for immunization, consultation and check ups. That time, her vaccines were quite expensive, thinking that we were getting them from one of the prestigious hospitals in the metro. I remember, she even got flu shots before we flew to Turkey for our longest vacation. We did it because my husband and I were worried that she might get sick while adjusting to a new environment, cold weather, etc. My daughter is now 3 years old, but I wish I was able to save money from her shots.
If only we have something like the Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens. In the US, people turn to this club to save on prescriptions and medications. For a small amount of $10 a year, a family membership already covers everyone in the immediate family. That includes the spouse, all dependents who are 22 and younger and pets. For an individual membership, one has to pay $5 in order to enjoy similar benefits.
Other benefits include the following:
-Savings on more than 8,000 brand-name and all generic medications
-Discounts on flu shots, pet prescriptions, nebulizers and diabetic supplies
-Bonuses when you purchase Walgreens brand products and photofinishing services
I think Walgreens can really help people in terms of health care. In that case, I want to show my support to them by liking Walgreens on Facebook and following Walgreens on Twitter. You should do the same thing too!

You're right, it would be nice if we had something like that here in the Philippines. We should have better health care here, unfortunately, I don't see it happening in the near future. :(
