It was lazy weekend and we got nothing to do. Hubby and I together with our almost 3 yo daughter went to the nearest mall to look around. After a delightful meal of pizzas and pasta Sbarro, we decided to check any movie that would suit all members of the family.

We saw The Smurfs was showing, so hubby queued for the tickets without a second thought. Mind you, our first date movie was Over the Hedge back in 2006. So childish, right? Hahaha!

Since we just finished our meals, we opted for just a box of popcorn and water for the three of us as snack.

Inside the theater, the little one first got scared of the dark room and the big screen. Thanks goodness she slowly liked it when more and more kids entered the cinema and when the trailers were changed into cartoons and kid movies.

The entire experience was overall okay. I guess our daughter would love to watch another flick after this.

Now off topic. I wore this vintage orange top that day. I just find it fashionable even motherly. I bought this top from Landmark for less than P200. It also goes well with my leopard skirt. So cute!

oh my! i've been meaning to bring my daughter too to her first movie but i'm not sure if she's ready. she'll turn 3 in october. i hope we can go to the movies as a family soon, we'll probably try that smurf movie during the weekend. :)
My daughter is 31 months but we have yet to bring her to the cinema house. She gets bored easily not to mention that she's afraid of the dark and can get noisy while watching a movie. One problem that I think we might also encounter is if she liked the movie, she would definitely want to watch it again. Hahaha!

Oh wow, never pa namin naexperience yan sis hehehe. Lovely photos.
