My Daughter at the Hello Kitty Toy Capsule Station

| Thursday, March 17, 2011
I love Gift Gate's Hello Kitty capsule station, also called gashapon* in Japanese. I thought my daughter would love to explore them, so I brought her to Megamall where there is a Gift Gate outlet. See those toy vending machines?

I want this Mama (with pouty lips.. hahaha!).

So, I bought a couple of tokens to get a toy. One token is P50 each and for the Hello Kitty toy watch, it requires 2 tokens to get 1 capsule. That's like, Hello Kitty toy watch for P100 each.

There were 5 Hello Kitty toy designs to choose from. I wanted to get the pink watch for my daughter, but the first capsule contained the green one. We tried again. Luck did not work. We got the yellow one. With our last try, we finally got the pink one. Ole!

The three Hello Kitty capsule toys we got. Cute cute toy watches for my young SIL, niece and daughter. Will make a separate post with them wearing these toy watches in the future. Hihihi.

*Wiki says, both gashapon and gachapon are Japanese onomatopoeia, made up of two sounds: "gasha" or "gacha" for the turning of a crank on a toy vending machine, and "pon" for the sound of the toy capsule dropping into the receptacle. It is used to describe both the machines themselves, and any toy obtained from them.

Askim is one gorgeous kid. I love her dress. If ever I'll have a daughter in the future, I'll dress her up often as well.
