You know what happened to me last month with
my order of a birthday cake from Red Ribbon Megamall. You know how bad I was feeling that I didn't get the exact cake I paid for.
The truth is, after the birthday party and even after rambling about it here, I didn't feel okay about ordering a Red Ribbon treat again. I was that disappointed with the fact that the bakery where I bought the most number of cakes my entire life failed me.
Cakes are sweeter the second time around.
Well, thanks goodness that Miss Faller, Red Ribbon's Area Manager, called and personally apologized with what happened. I knew I was only waiting for somebody to address my concern in order to forget. We all commit mistakes. Who am I not forgive and forget, right? Of course, I don't mean to put a known bakery under a bad name. Red Ribbon has my favorite cakes like ube and mango, which I think I can't find equally yummy with less sugar from its rival company. More than that, they have beautiful cakes by design which are perfect for birthdays, weddings, and the like.
And so, Miss Faller later insisted to deliver the cake that I wanted for my daughter's birthday. It came last Sunday just in time for our family gathering in Makati. Everybody enjoyed it and I swear it tasted so much better than the last cake I ordered. I don't know why.
So, thanks Miss Faller. Now, I can enjoy Red Ribbon cakes without feeling bad again. Hope not to encounter the same incident in the future ever. Good luck to your store! :)
