Missing Tvishi Already

My daughter found a friend and a playmate in the neighborhood where we moved early this year. Her name is Tvishi, a very cute Indian girl. Tvishi and and my little one sometimes fought over toys, but they usually got along well. Their last photo together taken the other day can tell.

After over half a year of being playmates, Tvishi had to say goodbye and go home to India together with her family. My daughter doesn't understand what does it mean to miss someone yet, so I feel sorry for her. I know she'll look for Tvishi and would wonder in a childish way if they can play ever again.

Tvishi's mom is also my friend. We would chat over some chips or donuts while watching our daughters run and play each lazy afternoon. Other than that, we exchanged texts, shared recipes and cooking tips and went to grocery or to the salon together. She is a wonderful person, interesting to talk with and just genuine. I am writing this post for Tvishi and her mom with a promise that we won't forget their kindness and friendship ever.
