Barbie Party for My Little Dolly

Every girl deserves a Barbie party, right? My darling daughter is turning two next month. These days, I am planning an inexpensive Pink Barbie Party for her. Not as grand as her Pizza Hut Party last year, but I hope she'll like it and she'll enjoy.



I already decided which Barbie cake to order from Red Ribbon. We'll just do the rest of the cooking at home. I won't be inviting lots of people, anyway. I will only invite a small number of very close friends and some of my daughter's playmates. The celebration will be held at home. Our place is not that huge, so I don't have a lot of space for a large crowd.

Good thing that National Bookstore sells Barbie-themed party favors. They don't have lots of choices just like in the picture, though. I only got a Barbie poster, loot bags, and some toys from them. I have been looking for Barbie party hats, but no luck. I bought the Barbie name tags instead.

Oh, I will be making a Barbie piñata! I am looking forward to start this project soon. I am planning a pink heart piñata with a Barbie photo in the middle and pink and purple tails. Hmmm. We'll see. Hope that happens. I will make a tutorial post for that whenever it's done.

I am yet to finalize the party food menu. Since the theme is Pink Barbie, I am thinking of serving some pink food and drinks. I am considering western cooking alone to go with the theme. Perhaps the typical western influenced party menu like pizza, spaghetti, hotdogs on stick, etc. Ahhh.. I need a little help. Any suggestions? Feel free to drop me a comment. Thanks.
