Lookies Brookies

So what do you call these cookies acting like brownies? What else but... BROOKIES! Just spread the dough in greased baking pans, bake until cooked, let cool, and cut into squares just like brownies.


Opppss.. I forgot to wipe the lens.


Instead of baking my brookies with the regular chocolate chips alone, I divided the dough into two and flavored them using tiny strawberry chips and choco chips that I bought from Bakers Depot two months ago. Yes, they are tiny, so they didn't make my brookies taste too sweet. One way of reducing the amount of sugar huh?

I think my oven was too hot 'cause I almost burned the brookies. The brown sides did not bother us, though. Hubby finished the choco chips brookies after a couple of breakfasts. On the other hand, my daughter and I shared those with strawberry chips.
