This is the authentic TONDO "Sun" big pendant. 1.70" (4.30cm) diameter. Made from 18 karat yellow gold and steel. Available at BVLGARI.COM for $1,550.

Spotting the Difference Between a Fake Bvlgari Jewelry & the Original One
1. Check the logo. Noticed any difference in size of the letters?
2. Inspect the material used. Does it look like real gold? Not tarnished?
3. Check the size and weight of the jewelry. It might be smaller or lighter.
4. Packaging. Does it come with a box or papers to verify its authenticity?
5. Ask for the price. Fake ones are usually cheaper.
*Some of these tips came from the salesmen of BVLGARI-Greenbelt in Makati.

Sa color pa lang and texture, you'll see the difference.. Kung sino man nagcclaim na authentic yan pero hindi naman, that's very disappointing. Ok lang sana kung immitation pero wag naman sabihin na authentic tapos hindi naman pala, you know what I mean..
Thanks for sharing =) Happy weekend na rin..
The easiest way is to check the font. You'll notice the V, L, A, R, and I with lines for the authentic ones (I don't know how to describe it), I hope u get what I mean. :)
Hay mukha talaga shang fakes, looks pa lang nya malayo na sha orig. anyway buti na lang hindi mo agad binayaran nyan sis, basta lagi ka ingat sa mga ganyang nagbebenta noh sis?
the decorative lines on the letters are called serifs. in analogy, pag times new roman, authentic. pero kapag arial, nako,,,
@bambie: sis, maloka-loka ako paliwanag sa may-ari nyan na fake nga yan.. pilit kc sya ng pilit na 'original imitation' daw yang pendant nya.. orig na imitation daw? haha.. kakaloka!
@j: yes, very noticeable but there are people out there who refuse to see what's obvious..
@sweetmom: i knew it was fake at first sight but i did not argue with its owner until i checked bulgari.com and visited bulgari store in greenbelt.. para masabi lang ba na may matibay akong basehan na fake sya talag! at para mapahiya na den sya kc friends kami tapaos lolokohin nya pa'ko, di ba? :(
@petit: thanks for that info.. i cant believe there are lots of replica and imitation jewelry pieces available online these days.. too bad, right?
wow.. dat's $1550? hehhe it looks really nice.. and the fake one is noticeably fake :D but it's nice to know..
So anything that any web pages sell which say "gold plated" or something like that are fake?
