Like my first project, you will be needing the following:
- glue
- assorted colored papers
- scissors
- scotch tape
- green and yellow green oil pastel, watercolor, crayon, color pen or pencil (for the leaves)
And of course, you may come up with your own pattern by imitating pictures of different flowers. You can always pick your favorite color and just follow the pattern in this presentation.
Here is the presentation of the tree I made. I was suppose to make an apple tree because I like the red color, but I live in the Philippines. I don't have any idea how do apple trees really look like since I've never seen one. I decided to have a mango tree instead and here's how.
This one is a ladybug that you can pair with your butterfly. You will only need two colors for this one-- red and black. The technique goes with the cutting. You won't be needing something to trace the little black circles on if you have a good grip of your scissors. Pretty easy!
Instead of making a rainbow, I came up with the sun and some clouds. Making a rainbow requires seven colors and so much of cutting curve patters. I think, this one is the easiest of all.
