Philippine Politics

I never like politics. I remember my essay writing class back in college.
Our professor required us to write something about Gloria Macapagal Arroyos's administration and I strongly stated that I didn't feel like writing because of the subject, that I don't like GMA, and I don't trust politicians in the Philippines.
She gave me back my paper with a red mark that says like: There is no such thing as personal success. You should care about the society where you belong.

This afternoon, I was on the way home when I heard a noise. I checked and saw people walking down EDSA Boni. I bet they came from the EDSA Shrine in Ortigas. They are one of the many groups rallying in Ayala today, February 29, 2008. The roads in Makati will be so congested and media and police officers will surround the place. They will be catching so much attention and hopefully will be successful in their campaign for GMA to resign.

I am really personally sick and tired of her, seeing her on TV everyday, hearing all the negatives things about her, etc. I just want her to be out of Malacanang. I am angry, but feeling stupid because I am not really doing something unlike those people who are now shouting their sentiments in the streets.

I feel sorry for myself and for all the Filipinos just thinking of all the wrongdoings of those who are serving in the government, politicians, and leaders.
My babe is true. God gave Philippines beautiful islands, beautiful women, but bad politics.

Note: The big banner that people are carrying says: NO TO TRAPO RULE.
Trapo is a Tagalog word for rug. GMA is running that kind of government according to the people.
